We're announcing this officially tomorrow, but I wanted to tell you guys first. Jordan's pregnant.

She's due early June and so far, things are going great. WIth her previous history we're obviously worried about it happening again, but the doctor we're using is wonderful and I know she can take care of Jordan and the baby. Hms. Becky was the Bun, I'm gonna need a nickname for this one, too.

Speaking of Becky, she's doing great. She's running rings around everyone in the studio. We've told her about the baby, but it's hard to tell how much she actually knows. We asked her if she wanted a brother or a sister and she said 'a puppy.' Oh well, she has time to get used to the idea, I guess.

I haven't updated this in a long time.

Life is good, we're done with S60 for another year, and we have no movie to shoot this summer. So we have a little bit of a break.

Jordan and Becky are wonderful. She's two now, and she's walking and talking and getting smarter every day. Watching her becoming a proper person with a personality, and everything.

So, my daughter turns one on May 2nd.

Can you believe that? I can't. Especially not when I compare these pictures.





Anyway, we're having a party for her on the 1st, which is a Saturday. You're all welcome to come, let me know if you want me to fly you out here. Becky won't have any idea what's happening, but it's a big day for us. That day was both the happiest and most terrifying day of my life, and it makes me want to celebrate twice.

So let me know if you want to come. You can come Friday and catch the show if you want. And we have spare rooms if you need someplace to stay.

Wow, has it really been this long since I updated?

Well, our honeymoon was great. And it was great seeing you all at the wedding, thank you all so much for coming.

Jordan's been back at work since we got home, and now I'm back at work. It's great that we have Manny though, he's been hanging out at the studio while we get things up and running again. So I get to see Becky a lot, and so does Jordan whenever she can sneak over. There are more toys in my office now than I ever thought possible. But it means its okay if I spend a lot of time here. And Becky's a heavy sleeper, so she can fall asleep here in her Pack 'n Play and we can bring her home when we're done. Makes it easier for us to work long hours, which we have to do.

She's still adorable, of course. Here she is in a rare moment of silence:



She's babbling away all the time now. I really wish I knew what she's trying to say. It's amazing to see her personality develop. She's an incredible kid. She fascinates me.

Okay, I should talk about the show. It's back this Friday, and though I know I should have given you all more notice, you're all invited to the premiere. Just let me know if you need tickets. The same goes for any week you want to come, by the way.

It's gonna be a great show. Matt's writing some great sketches, and Darius and Lucy are old hands by now. It's great to have everyone back.

And we have an Emmy winner among us. Harry won last night, and she really deserved it. We're all insanely proud of her, though no one as much as Matt.

I haven't been around here lately. I've been tied up with rebuilding the studio and planning a wedding and hiring a nanny.

His name is Manny. Yeah, a male nanny. A manny. Called Manny. I know, but he's great. And Becky loves him, which is what matters.

She's doing so good. She is getting huge. She's got these huge chubby cheeks all of a sudden, and she looks more like Jordan every day. She babbles away, and laughs out loud too.

The wedding preparation is coming along. Looking forward to having you all there. We get hotel rooms with the wedding package so just let me know if you need one. We'll be staying at our house, but Jordan doesn't know that. She doesn't even know we have a house. I bought the villa that we stayed in before - the one Pete and Rose stayed in, I don't know if Lucas and Layla managed to get out there yet. But you're all welcome to use it whenever you want. It's my wedding present to her. Cabo is special for us, and it'll be nice to have somewhere to get away to whenever we need a break.

Happy Independence Day, everyone. Well, everyone except Rose and Lucy, I guess.

Becky is not a fan of this holiday so far. Her beauty sleep was rudely interrupted last night by the teenagers next door getting some fireworks in early. They're a little too loud for her, I think. So, tonight's gonna be fun.

She can roll over now, but only one way, so she cries to be moved back onto her back so she can do it again. I'm sitting on the floor beside her as she talks away to a rattle right now. She's also taking bottles which means I get to feed her, and so will the nanny when we eventually hire one. Jordan was resistant at first because she claims I hog her.

Hiring a nanny is proving difficult, we're both very very picky. We have time, neither of us is going back to work right away (Jordan will be after the honeymoon, and I'll be going back in September) but we want to be sure Becky knows and is comfortable with her. Not many people I'd trust to look after my kid.

Hope you all have a good holiday, and spare a thought for people with newborns living near you when going crazy with the fireworks, yeah?

Things are great. Becky's growing and growing and she's smiling and cooing and everything now. It's all going by so fast, it's scary.

And speaking of beautiful, Jordan is doing great, she's fully recovered and so we've started wedding planning.

Nah, I'm kidding. It really is going to be low-key. We're getting married in Cabo, on the 8th of August, and you're all invited. We'll sort out hotel rooms and plane tickets if you need em, we'd really like to have you all there. Just let us know and we'll add you to the list.

Sorry you guys, long time no update. Things have been hectic between the show and Jordan and Becky being home.

They're both doing great, Jordan's healing nicely according to the doctors, and Becky is getting even more incredible every day.

I just got a bassinet for my office so she can come hang out with me - even though we only have one show left, I like that she has space here so she can be in my office if she needs to. I spend so much time here that I have a feeling so will she when the show's on. Though I'm gonna need a pack and play for next season - she'll be way too big for this by September.

She's here with me right now, actually. We're giving Mommy a couple of hours off. Jordan's mom is going to pick her up in a little bit. Very little work is actually happening here this morning, though, she's a bit of a distraction.

Jordan and Becky are doing great. Jordan's dying to get home, they're keeping her in till Saturday though, just to be sure. Which is fine by me.

I've been spending every second I'm not sleeping or working with them. Rebecca's incredible. She just is, I could stare at her for hours. I'm one of those fathers I always thought were crazy. Like, they have a kid one day and it's all they can talk about. I get them now, though, because I love her so much. And I love Jordan even more than I thought possible when I see her with our daughter.

I'm a pro at changing diapers now. I'm quicker than Jordan, but my mom beats both of us. Grandmas rule. Jordan's mom is hanging around for a few weeks, because we don't have a nanny. We'll look into getting one over the hiatus, but that's only a couple weeks away, and I'll be home full time by then. We won't really need one before the end of the summer, and it's not something we want to rush.

Tom is flying to Germany to see Mark, who is going to be fine. Charlie, thanks for letting everyone here know what's going on.

Jordan is, too. She had pre-eclampsia so she had to have an emergency C-Section, and she seemed to go out of her way to get every post-op complication you could get. She had trouble clotting at first and then she developed a post-op infection. I came way to close to losing her. Last night was the longest night of my life, no contest. But she's awake now, and as I type, she's feeding Becky across the room.

That's her name. Rebecca. I'd like to have her middle name be Jessica.

Oh, and I'm engaged. I proposed to Jordan last night before she went into surgery. And then when she woke up she surprised me by presenting me with adoption papers. I'm Becky's father, officially now.

She's incredible. She was a little early, but she's perfect. Got 9/10 on the APCAR - she didn't grimace but we're working on that.

It's so hard to not talk to Jordan about the ratings. Yes, they're down. Yes, the show hasn't been great lately.

I'm stuck, because she's my boss and the woman I want to marry, and he's my best friend.

It isn't all because of the writing, though. This feeling of lethargy has permeated the whole studio and everyone is lost. I feel like I'm failing everyone, especially Matt. Because I can't work out why this time is so different to all the others. I'm missing something huge, here, and it's bugging me.

I should know how to get them all back on track again, but I don't. And I have to come home to her and try to pretend like nothing's wrong. But she's being pitted against Hallie at every opportunity, and we're the biggest show she has. So I'm failing Jordan, too.

I'm stuck. And I'm not sure what to do.

I've been so bad at keeping this updated. We've been so busy. The show hasn't slowed down any and my life outside work is insane.

The nursery is finally done, really this time. We have furniture and more tiny pink clothes than I thought existed, but I still somehow know we'll probably need more. We have cribs and strollers and slings and swings and changing tables and bottle warmers and sterilizers... the list is endless.

She's due in exactly one month. It's scary and exciting.

I know all I ever post about is Jordan and the Bun, but they're the biggest thing happening in my life right now. (Literally. She's huge). There'll be less pregnancy talk around here real soon.

Of course, then there'll be baby pictures, whether you want to see them or not...

So every few years we have a show that is a total disaster.

And last night was it.

I'd just like to say for the record, it's not my fault the prop guys are so sensitive. And okay, so I may have been holding on to some lingering resentment from the RealCare Baby incident. (It's eyes flew out of it's head!)

And so I was stupid and they all walked out. Despite having no props guys and no cue cards, I think Alison Janney held it together admirably.

She's a pro. And the footage of the botched shooting scene on Youtube is hilarious.
